STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments (composed of 66 Books) as being verbally inspired by God and completely inerrant in the original writings and of supreme and final authority for faith and life. It is the complete and final written revelation of the will of God to man.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All three together are the essence of the one God.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true Man and the only way to eternal life with Him. Every human soul is eternal so you must decide where you will spend eternity before you die. Either in heaven with Jesus or eternally separated from Him.
We believe that man was created in the image of God: that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are sinners in thought, word and deed. Those who reach the age of accountability must decide for Christ, by believing through faith, repenting, and accepting the free gift of grace He offers. One is thereby born again, having received pardon from all sin, past, present and future, and lives the new life only through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we maintain clear communication with Him through confessing new sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us and keep on cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood.
We believe in the physical resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and His present life for us as our only High Priest and Advocate.
We believe in that “blessed hope”; the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ, are born of the Holy Spirit, indwelt by Him and thereby become children of God, a relationship in which they are eternally secure. We are to, daily, seek His filling to empower us to live the abundant Christian life, the proof of which is the Fruit of the Spirit.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
We believe our life of service is from a grateful heart for His salvation. Our good works cannot save us, but are for storing up treasures in heaven, if we do not receive rewards for them from man here on earth.
